I have recently seen a few videos of landscapers discussing the benefits to walking backwards when string trimming. My thoughts on this are, never sacrifice safety for quality. Yes it may look a little better if you walk backwards, but it is much more dangerous. Let’s be honest most people aren’t going to notice the difference anyways.
